Synopsis
Most girls dream of being a princess, but Lee Seul (Kim Tae Hee) just wants to find her father and to be noticed by her handsome professor, Jung Woo (Ryu Su Yeong). She is ready to chase her beloved to the end of the world or in this case to Egypt, since his next archaeological dig is planned to be there. The professor is aware that many of his students like him, including her, so he is willing to just humour her, thinking that she will eventually get over her childish crush, although he himself is not over his first love, Yoon Joo (Park Ye Jin).
But one day Seul is told she is in fact a real princess and that her father was the last emperor. She struggles to face the reality that her long-lost father is dead and hence she is willing to give up the riches offered and instead travel to Egypt. When she hears her late father’s name being sullied and since her identity is already exposed, she becomes determined to clear his name and the only way to get people’s attention is … well … – by being a princess. She soon faces the real question – can she overcome the difficulties ahead? Can she win over all the people oppose the reinstatement of the royal family?
Hae Young (Song Seung Hun), the sole heir of a large conglomerate company, just found out that his grandfather is giving his inheritance away to put Lee Seul on the princess’ seat. After all the hardships he had to endure being the well-known heir- his constrained childhood, breaches on his privacy and to top it off, growing up without his father – he’s going to be left penniless. Will he be the dutiful grandson or will he stand up for his right? What about Yoon Joo, the woman he believes he is destined to marry – will she still be there for him when all that she covets is no longer his?
